Alex Hill
Alex Hill is a Principal of Eaton Square and based in Toronto and Hong Kong, with nearly 30 years of experience assisting owner-operators and corporate clients in North America, Asia/Pacific and Europe to manage strategic fund-raising and M&A transactions. Focused mainly on private transactions Alex maintains a strong network of private equity, venture capital, family office and corporate investors in Asia, North America and elsewhere.
Prior to Eaton Square, Alex co-founded a boutique advisory business that originated, lead and managed a variety of cross border, capital raising, M&A and advisory transactions for mid-market, family owned and corporate clients located mainly in the Asia / Pacific region from China south to Indonesia, and Thailand east to the Philippines and Taiwan. Industries ranged from consumer, hospitality and technology sectors to agribusiness, energy infrastructure, insurance and financial services.
Previously, Alex co-founded and managed the development of two financial information / data analytics businesses headquartered in Hong Kong that were focused on increasing global financial industry access to fundamental Asian company information through innovative data management and Internet delivery strategies.
Originally from Philadelphia, USA, Alex is a graduate of the University of Vermont, and speaks Mandarin Chinese.
